Order Ghana police to give me my gun-Medikal tells court.
Medikal’s lawyer appeared in court today to defend him against the accusation of exhibiting a handgun on social media.
Counsel for the Ghanaian rapper, Alice Nimako Debrah Ablormeti, pleaded in court today, Tuesday, January 25, 2022, for the court to issue an order to the police to release the pistol to him.
She is the court that the accused and his legal team have not been provided with the processes and disclosures necessary to mount a proper defense while holding a brief for the substantive counsel.
In response, the State Prosecutor, Chief Inspector Dennis Terkpetey, asked the court for an extension of time to file procedures, disclosures, and witness statements, as well as serve them on the accused.

As a result, the case has been rescheduled for February 15, 2022. In September 2021, while driving in his car, he displayed a Ruger 9mm pistol without justification. After the video became viral, he was apprehended on October 21st, 2021.
He was detained in custody for five days before being released on bail and faced trial.
