Fameye – I want to be a messenger, not a celebrity.

In his music career, Ghanaian rapper and musician Peter Fameye Bozah, better known by his stage name Fameye, has stated that he does not want to be recognized as a star, but rather as a message.

According to him, being a star and achieving a certain amount of fame in the industry had been his dream, but now that he has accomplished that, he is transitioning to being a messenger.

He is, however, shifting his focus away from worldly tunes and toward holy music.

“This year, my best level has to do with my song Praise and how I found myself because previously, I just wanted to blow up, I just wanted to be a star, but now I feel like I don’t want to be a celebrity, I want to be a messenger,” he stated.

He said this in an interview with Hitz FM’s DaybreakHitz, in which he revealed his decision to become a preacher.

“I want to be a preacher,” he continued, “and preach to the people the message I have for them that comes from the spirit.”

The most recent endeavor is the result of God’s grace, which he claims includes songwriting

“I have never sat down to write down my lyrics, and I have nothing unique to say about how I get my lyrics,” he added. “But I know it’s a moment, and I live in the moment, and I inspire myself.”

“Anytime I hear the production and go down, I connect to the instrumentation, so there’s nothing exceptional,” he continued.

But remember, whatever I say in my song, I’m a preacher, and Peter is the one saying it. So, because I am a positive person, you should always keep it positive,” he added.

He went on to say that the previous year was significant for him since he discovered himself and his chosen genre, praise.

Praise, Self-help, Agoro, Focus, Okomfuor Kwadee, Long Life, Speed Up, and more hit songs were written by Fameye.
