NASIA’S APPROVAL OF R.S.E MEDIA COLLEGE.

Media as we all know has become part of man from centuries to centuries and from generations to generations because of the great impact and influence it has on society.

Media informs and updates people about what is happening and permeates people’s lives by creating their own criteria and opinions as well as educating and entertaining the public. This is to say that media moves the masses, creating different social movement alongside influencing the way people see the world and allow them take diverse decisions and make their own judgements.

This whole idea about media and its relevance to society gave birth to R.S.E. MEDIA COLLEGE.Radio School of Excellence Media College (R.S.E. MEDIA COLLEGE) was established on the 21st of November, 2011 in Ghana’s capital city (Greater Accra).

The school was specifically established in a town called JAH-LOVE in the Greater Accra Region by a well trained professional and experienced journalist called Mr. Justice Boateng popularly known as Nana Kwame Mizpah. He is a Ghanian by birth, a Christian and the founder of both R.S.E MEDIA COLLEGE and UNBEATABLE MEDIA SCHOOL (UMS).

He is also the CEO for the school’s affiliated online TV and RADIO stations (OMEGA FM and TV, ODASANI FM and TV AND EXCELLENCE FM and TV). Though there are countless media schools in Ghana, R.S.E MEDIA COLLEGE stands tall among them all. It is also the highest in the hierarchical ranking of media schools in Ghana.R.S.E MEDIA COLLEGE in its ten years of operation has produced lots of media personnels both in Ghana and in Nigeria who are performing excellently.

The school is also being managed by competent personalities. These personalities who serve as the management or administrators of the school have good interpersonal relationships with both students and clients as well as visitors.

Due to this, anyone who comes to the school feels welcomed and want to be a part of the school. The school (R.S.E. MEDIA COLLEGE) is therefore proud to announce that it is the first media school to be approved or accredited by NASIA.

BELOW IS THE LAW PASSED IN PARLIAMENT ABOUT THE ACCREDITATION OF SCHOOLS.

The National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NASIA) is an agency of the Ministry of Education mandated by parliament to conduct independent external evaluations on the quality and standards in private Pre-Tertiary Educational Institutions in Ghana on periodic basis.

This simply means NASIA is the agency under the Ministry of Education responsible for licensing of new and already existing Pre-Tertiary Educational Institutions (PTEIs), the quality of infrastructure and facilities in Pre-Tertiary Educational Institutions among others. Section 87 of the new Education Regulatory Act (ACT 1023) gives NASIA the power to fully operate as a governmental body.

R.S.E. MEDIA COLLEGE was able to win NASIA’s accreditation due to their ability of providing facilities such as well-structured lecture halls, well-furnished and ultra-modern TV and RADIO studios to enhance practical’s etc. The school has well qualified professional lecturers who use the student-centered approach in teaching and learning.
