Sarkodie Sells Out "The Pourhouse" Of 1,200 Capacity In Minnesota With The Shutdown Boys_ghnation.net

It was a spectacle to behold on Friday, August 18th, at the Shutdown All White Invasion Concert, which happened at “The Pourhouse” in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The show, which had Africa’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie, as the main artist, was sold out.

The show, as part of Sarkodie’s tour for his novel album Jamz, was spearheaded by multiple award-winning event promoter Julian Kojo Asiedu, known in showbiz circles as Jagonzy. The Pourhouse,” with a capacity of 1,200, was full, with a bevy still outside, wanting to come inside.

“This was the sixth edition of the “Shutdown All White Invasion,” and the anticipations were high. It was just prudent enough to put King Sarkodie on it since it was his first ever show in Minnesota. Truly, he was the perfect fit, as the show was sold out and lit as well”, the Shutdown CEO revealed.

He also revealed that most Ghanaian promoters in the diaspora, most especially in New York, Washington, DC, Ohio, Chicago, North Carolina, Minnesota, Dallas, Atlanta, Canada, and many more, have come together to push the agendum of projecting our music across our borders while still finding the right connections for our artists to go international.

King Sark, who is on tour for his Jamz album, has successfully sold out all venues he has visited, with “The Pourhouse”, Minnesota, being the latest.
