King Promise breaks silence on Baba Sadiq's' disrespectful 'claims and blacklisting

Sadiq Abdulai Abu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 3 Media Networks, has made “disrespectful” claims, according to King Promise.

According to Sadiq, King Promise’s music videos would no longer be broadcast on 3 Music TV. He stated that King Promise’s staff disrespected him, which prompted him to blacklist the Ghanaian musician.

He described how the singer’s team made it extremely difficult for his company to book King Promise for a gig while narrating what happened. “I was in a meeting when I got ten missed calls from Killbeatz; this is the second time Killbeatz has had to do that where he calls me and abuses me,” he explained.

He went on “I picked up because I had 10 missed calls, and he went off, and I was like, “What the f is wrong?” Is it all about the money? But what is it, whatever problem you have, I can solve it right away… he wandered off… and there’s a lot of backstory to this “..

King Promise, speaking publicly for the first time regarding Sadiq’s blacklist, contradicted the assertions made by 3 Media Networks’ Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He further stated that he feels unaffected because he has never treated him with disrespect.

“What he done hasn’t hurt me.” It gets to you when you’ve done something, but I haven’t done anything. I was quite excited to perform at Wildaland. “It looked lovely, but we couldn’t agree on anything,” he explained.

“Sadiq is a very important element of the industry,” he continued. Even before I blew up, I knew who he was. I haven’t communicated with him in a long time. I had no idea he had an issue with me the last time he was around.”

“How can I disrespect him if I haven’t spoken to him?” He went on to say, “The whole thing was about coming to an understanding, but I think it could have been handled differently.”

The ‘Slow Down’ singer notes that the music industry is facing issues that require answers, so promoting divisiveness isn’t a good idea.

“I’m not in the business of pulling things down.” When it comes to a lot of things, we’re already behind. As a result, we cannot encourage divisiveness. I will never, ever talk on anything. Some people are aware that I will not speak on any subject. So they’re free to say whatever they want,” King Promise explained.
