Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, better known as Shatta Wale, is a popular reggae-dancehall musician with numerous songs in other genres.
Shatta Wale, who was born on October 17, 1984 in Ghana, rose to prominence in 2013 after years of obscurity as Bandana of “MokoHoo” fame.

The self-proclaimed dancehall king, who is widely regarded as Ghana’s most controversial musician, has used social media to promote his work.

He appears to be influenced by the old hip-hop culture, where rife and battles were the norm; a style that appears to be working for him.

And, as we speak, he is the most-talked-about Ghanaian artist due to his ability to fill the Accra Sports Stadium, which has a capacity of 40,000 people.
