It has been 20 years since young Ghanaian music legend Terry Bonchaka passed away, and rumors surrounding his death and works in the past few years seem to be expounding. The latest being about the royalties and businesses around his works, from his own camp.
Just a few days ago, Terry’s current executive producer, Felix Agyin Davies, on the Daybreak Hitz show with Doreen Avio, alleged that his family has not gained a penny from his work since his death, 20 years now, while others actively make huge sums of money off them, both physically and virtually. He saw how Bonchaka’s mother had to call him to come into the scene to help them recuperate some of the money for her upkeep because she was not in the best of state.
Mr. Davies recounted how a former manager of Terry told her to use her house as collateral for a loan so they could promote his unreleased songs.
Mr. Felix Agyin Davies strongly warned those eating off Terry Bonchaka’s work that he was really coming for them and to put an end to all that. He also stated that he will open up an investigation into the death of the young musician because, per his findings, the circumstances that led to Terry’s death are questionable.
