Who's won the Club World Cup 2025? Chelsea beat PSG 3-0 to win the 2025 Club World Cup: updates and reaction
Chelsea won 3-0. PSG
Chelsea won the inaugural edition of the expanded FIFA Club World Cup, defeating Paris Saint-Germain 3-0.
Prior to signing in the summer, Cole Palmer scored twice in the first half. Joao Pedro stunned PSG, the defending European champions, with his third goal of the competition.
President Trump, who attended the match at the MetLife Stadium with FIFA’s Gianni Infantino, presented the medals to Chelsea’s players.
After winning the Club World Cup for the first time in 2021, Chelsea is now the tournament’s second-time champion.
How Chelsea won the Club World Cup

Chelsea decided to take the Club World Cup seriously as a competition a year ago. It was then that they began to strategise to win this event.
We give you an inside look at Chelsea’s unexpected victory, which took 329 days to prepare, including large bonuses, training-field agreements, and “scary” Cole Palmer.

Luis Enrique: Runners-up are not losers
Luis Enrique rejected the idea that Paris Saint-Germain were losers in this competition after today’s defeat.
“Loser? No. There are no losers here,” he said in the post-match press conference. “A runner-up is very different. Losers in life are those who give up, losers are those who do not get up. Here in high-level sport, there are no losers.”
Palmer ‘confused’ by Trump trophy celebration presence

Cole Palmer spoke about the confusion he felt when President Trump decided to hang around on stage for Chelsea’s trophy celebration.
“I knew he was going to be there but I didn’t know he was going to be on the stand when we lifted the trophy, so I was a bit confused,” he said.
PSG head coach Luis Enrique spoke about the brawl that followed the full-time whistle during his post-match press conference. He spoke in Spanish because he wanted to express himself as clearly as possible.
“At the end of the game there is a situation that I believe is totally avoidable by everyone,” he said. “My goal and intention, as always, is to try to separate the players so that there are no more problems. Avoidable situation. There is a lot of tension, a lot, a lot of pressure and from there, there is a series of pushes by many people that I think we should all avoid and that should not happen again. But I repeat, my intention as always, to avoid any situation that goes further.”
