Young afrobeats and highlife musician Eric Asante, also known as Seven Kizs in the music industry, has been the talk of the town on TikTok and other social media sites as his newly released song Picture appears to have struck a chord with listeners all throughout the country.
Seven Kizs becomes the second-most-shazammed song on the Top 200 Ghana charts just one day after it is released. Despite joining well-known and established Ghanaian and African hitmakers like Burna Boy, Kuami Eugene, Asake, and Young Jonn, Seven Kizs manages to surpass these musical giants with label and financial assistance.
Seven Kizs, a teenage musician, relied on his remarkable vocals, talent, and brilliant marketing plan to ensure that his songs reached a wider audience and left a lasting impression on listeners. To his credit, the leading music promotion platform TikTok has seen a huge increase in his fan base because of his clever and well-executed advertising initiatives.
Seven Kizs’s remarkable success on the music platform helped him build a strong and captivating brand, and in the comments section of one of his videos, Grammy Award winner Stonebwoy referred to him as an “exceptional talent for the next generation.”

Kumasi-Ashtown is where Seven Kizs, better known as Eric Asante to his relatives and childhood pals, was born and reared. He was inspired by performers such as Okyeame Kwame, Flowking Stone, Kojo Antwi, and others because of his early exposure to Ghanaian highlife and hiplife in a town brimming with gifted musicians.
He was featured on a street talent show by well-known Kumasi-based dancer Allo Maadjoa, who has since assisted him in his musical endeavors with songs like “Mea” and “The Current One Picture,” both of which were produced by Tubhani Muzik. His ambition was to bring contemporary music trends to Ghanaian highlife and hiplife and conquer the world.
