Senseless Movie Is Better Than Pornography” - Shatana Slams Martha Ankomah
Female singer and philanthropist Shatana has responded to renowned actress Martha Ankomah on her remarks regarding Kumawood films.
In an interview, Martha claimed that the majority of Kumawood films lacked depth and had flimsy plots. Shatana has refuted her assertions, stating that these “senseless” films are preferable to ones that emphasize Martha excessively and are overly sensuous and romantic.
She said that most seasoned actors and actresses are finding it challenging to get rid of some roles they played in their youth because doing so might jeopardize their reputation, but they are unable to do so.
She also cautioned up-and-coming performers to exercise caution in the kinds of parts they accept, as some may have immediate life-altering consequences.
