Sarkodie Is To Blame For Ghanaians' Struggles; He Duped Us Into Voting For The NPP - Tweep Says
Following the government’s presentation of the 2022 budget statement and fiscal strategy in Parliament, a slew of emotions have been circulating on social media.
The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta, outlined new policies that the government will implement in 2022, but this new resolve was not well received by Ghanaians, who have expressed their dissatisfaction with the ruling New Patriotic Party, led by President Akufo Addo, in how they are handling the country’s affairs. AsepaGhana, a Twitter user, has accused musician Sarkodie of being to blame for the plight of regular Ghanaians. According to AsepaGhana, Sarkodie is to blame for Ghanaians’ current plight.
According to the tweep, Sarkodie allegedly got money from the NPP and warned Ghanaians in a song that they should continue to suffer because of free SHS and free electricity.
Sakodie’s statements in the “Happy Day” song, according to AsepaGhana, were such a poor endorsement from a huge brand like him because the result of his commentary is what Ghanaians are facing today.
