HipLife may have needed repairs a few years ago, but they were overlooked and are now nearly undetectable. I was listening to a song called “The Game” by Okyeame Kwame and Richie Mensah off Obour’s “Fontomfrom” album.
This song addressed very important issues in the HipLife scene, and I believe that if more attention was paid to these issues, HipLife could have a much stronger presence than it does now.
I learned how most artists and other big names in the industry did not support HipLife, and I gained more insight into the inside issue than just a song that we danced to at parties and other fun events.
