Daddy Lumba's Family Opens Book of Condolences; Candlelight Vigil Set for August 2nd
The family of late highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, often known as Daddy Lumba, has opened a book of condolences at his home to honor his memory.
The book of condolences will be available to the public beginning Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at his home on Kinshasha Crescent, House Number 12 (GA-332-9264), from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.
at addition, on Saturday, August 2, 2025, a candlelight vigil will be conducted at Accra’s Independence Square. The event, arranged in partnership with the Creative Arts Agency, will start at 6:00 p.m.
In a statement written by the family’s lawyer, Fati Ali Yallah, they thanked the public for their outpouring of love and support following Daddy Lumba’s death after a brief illness.
